Friends like it when you hear their concerns and support them in ways that they find helpful. E4Change builds friendships for Canada in the world by designing programs that are based on what local community leaders see as issues in their communities, and reflect ways that local people would like these issues addressed.

Canada does not want to be seen as an overbearing country that enforces its way of doing things on others. The world has too much of that already.  People do better when they are listened to and their needs are at the centre of what is happening. Education for Change is proud that we are one of many organizations that show a face of Canada to the world which supports other people in becoming stronger, rather than trying to make other people into cookie cutter versions of us.
