This picture shows 25 youth exercising their brains in our library. Often there are twice that number in the building. This is a wonderful use of the resource. A challenge that it presents, however, is that the building does not have a washroom. When nature calls, people have to leave what they are doing and find a washroom elsewhere.
Our library is also one of few meeting spaces in the area, so when community groups need to gather, then the library needs to be cleared of patrons.
Our dream is to add to our library so that it has things like a washroom, meeting, and office spaces. Stay tuned as we work to realize our dreams.
