Children served by our library in Kalefo have participated in our annual reading comprehension contest. Participants range in age from 7 to 15 years old, and classes from nearby villages are invited to participate and come as a group.  Although prizes are part of it, the students are clearly motivated by more than that. Our goal is to inspire a lifelong love of reading, encourage library visits, and help boost literacy in the community.
