We are gathering people at The Warka Tree, a Guelph restaurant serving Ethiopian food, for lunch on Sunday November 30. This is an opportunity to support education in Ethiopia, as well as expanding your understanding of elements of Ethiopian culture.
The food will be a buffet, so you can choose your own adventure without going outside of your comfort zone. The owner and head chef will be there, and they can talk about and explain the food. The event will include an Ethiopian coffee ceremony, and we plan on door prizes as well. We thank The Warka Tree for their support of Education for Change by hosting this event.
Tickets are $45 each, and in return you will get a meal and a tax receipt for $25. Tickets can be purchased by clicking the banner above, or following this link: https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/education-4-change/events/ethiopian-cuisine-luncheon/
The Warka Tree is at 75 Willow Road in Guelph, Ontario, and the event will be from 12:00 to 3:00 on Sunday November 30.
For those who had been looking forward to Brews and Brews, a repeat of an event that we held last year with Schooner Street Brewery, we had to put it off as our venue became unavailable. We hope to have it again in the future.
