Two of our board members published a paper describing inclusive education in Ethiopia and Canada. Dr. Lisa Devall-Martin and Dr. Sharlene McHolm drew on their experience as educators in Ontario, Canada and as longtime serving board members of Education for Change to write an article in Exceptionality Education international in 2024. This journal provides a forum for research and dialogue on topics relevant to the education of people with exceptionalities and how barriers to the full participation of all people in education can be reduced and removed.

“… we, who have been actively engaged in Ethiopian educational development for over a decade with an international non-governmental organization, propose a new responsive theoretical framework as a guidance system for integrated-inclusive education using collectivism and individualism to bridge the gap between policy and praxis.”
