“I made that bag!”

At a recent presentation in Waterloo, showing pictures of Menstrual Hygiene Kits being distributed in Ethiopia, someone in the audience spotted a bag being proudly held up to the camera that she had made. The cloth was distinctive and, “I made all the bags with that pattern.”

While it is meaningful and fulfilling to make something that you know will make a difference in someone’s life, it is a thrill to see it actually being delivered.
